Ceará Sporting Club welcomed back midfielders Vina and Juan Alano after injuries. The players are preparing for the match against Athletic-MG in the 17th round of Série B, which will take place on Monday, 13, at Presidente Vargas Stadium.
What happened?
Vina spent over a month without training due to a grade II injury to the thigh muscle. After intensive work at the Health and Performance Center (CESP), the player showed satisfactory progress and was cleared to return to training.
Preparation for the next game
Juan Alano, on the other hand, had been sidelined due to inflammation in the Achilles tendon. In about 20 days, he followed a workload management schedule and performed specific strengthening exercises for the area.
Expectations for the next game
The players are medically fit, but they will still undergo work throughout the week to regain match fitness. Before the match against Athletic-MG, the team will have four more days of preparation.
Coach Daniel Paulista will lead the training sessions and seek the best way to take advantage of the players' return.
